Taiwanese tiles are indeed the anonymous hero of the architectural history of Taiwan. For more than a century, the use of tiles in buildings has been and still is a way of showing the distinction of luxurious homes and the wealth of the rich and famous. This ancient building has restored and recovered more than 4 thousand pieces of century-old patterned tiles through more than 20 years of workmanship. This is an exhibition of the art of Taiwanese tiles in architecture during the golden age of 1915 to 1935. One can find world-class patterned tiles here that make a trip to the museum worth it.
